Ever since I was a kid, I was obsessed with exploration. Not in the vein of Indiana Jones and Captain Kirk, but with the likes of Shackleton and Amundsen.
Growing up, I got to watch modern explorers take-off into space on the backs of rockets from my bedroom window and wake up early in the morning to hear the sonic boom of re-entry.
Living in today's digital age, exploration has taken a back seat to the instantaneous clicking of satellite imagery.
There is still a place for exploration. To share the stories of the earth's furthest reaches.
And that's what I plan to do. To share the worlds stories with everyone. To give us, as the earth's protectors, a greater understanding of the place we call home.
